Hello,

When we and our supporters are trying to understand and make sense of provincial government policy, we often turn to our friends/colleagues at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, BC Office for insight.

From poverty to budget analysis, climate change to natural resources, CCPA-BC researchers offer a progressive lens on how social and economic policies affect the lives of British Columbians. Their analyses help us better understand our province.

Every November, the CCPA-BC holds its Annual Fundraising Gala at the Fraserview Hall where old and new friends enjoy a meal together, hear from an inspiring speaker and celebrate our resilient community and unwavering commitment to progressive policy.

This is the first time since 2019 that the CCPA-BC is holding its Gala IN-PERSON and we hope you will join us to thank this fearless organization that many of us lean on for research and analysis.

This year,  the keynote speaker is Rueben George, Tsleil-Waututh Nation Sundance Chief and author of the national bestseller ‘It Stops Here.’ Author, comedian and political activist Charlie Demers will MC the evening.

We hope to see you on Thursday, Nov 23, 5:30 pm at the Fraserview Hall (8240 Fraser St., Vancouver)
