Join us for an important conversation on issues related to democratic reform—like the upcoming referendum on BC’s electoral system, stemming the flood of corporate lobbying, and other ideas for creating a stronger democracy.

This briefing will feature CCPA-BC research associate Maxwell Cameron. Max is a Professor in UBC’s Department of Political Science and Director of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Institutions. The event will also feature Alex Hemingway, Seth Klein and Shannon Daub from the CCPA-BC staff, who will share a few highlights from their own research on democratic reform.

There is limited seating available at the event, so please register below. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Program starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 6:30 pm.

You can also watch our live online broadcast of the presentations at 5:30 pm. Simply bookmark our Facebook page and be sure to visit on April 25 at 5:30pm, when the live stream will begin (you do not need a Facebook account to watch): https://www.facebook.com/policyalternatives
